After completing his H.N.D. in Fashion & Advertising at the Batley School of Art & Design, Mark assisted in a number of the northeast's commercial studios. In 1998 he started his career with the countries largest portrait company as a studio photographer, but quickly moved into training photographers for the company and then as an Area Manager. During this time he achieved a number of awards including Northern Photographer of the Year.

Currently Mark is a Licentiate in M.P.A. (Master Photographers Association).
